$4 Billion

While the CMA has previously investigated AI sector deals, its approach has been criticized for potentially stifling innovation. With global concerns about AI competition, the CMA is collaborating with other organizations to monitor the industry. A decision on further investigation is expected in the coming weeks.

Modernizing IT programs can address these issues. This also aligns with the President's Management Agenda, enhancing efficiency, improving service delivery, and reducing costs. However, the use of emerging technologies like AI/ML should be context-specific. Effective change management is crucial, requiring leaders to develop plans, assess the organizational needs, and collaborate with employees. Trusted partners like CDW can support these modernization efforts.
